_______
Is there an end? How to see the disparity between looking at live art and its archive?
Where is the future, while "future" is now? Where is the present, while "now" is in the past? How come we are still not there, yet?
Is documentation a currency? What's a collective?
The archive shapes the standard and hence creates limits for the future. That’s only one way of defining archive.
Is there a generous connection between the past, the present, and the future?
As artists, are we consuming the public to enjoy, or making the performance work more/less available?
If there are more examples the archive could offer, then there are more options opening for the artists to exercise. The archive can be used for as many examples it can have.
This is what there was, you decide what's good, not this is what's good.
